The Grand People’s Study House located in Pyongyang. It is the largest library in the country and national center for students studying North Korea’s unique philosophy of self-reliance (juche). It allegedly contains over 600 rooms and holds over 10,000 documents, books, and notes written by Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il. Foreign works are generally outlawed, but a select few are allowed to be seen in the library with special permission.
