A female guide emerges from the doors of the International Friendship Exhibition. The museum complex is located on Myohyang-san (“Mysterious Fragrant Mountain”) in the North Pyongan province of North Korea and contains over 150 rooms housing gifts to the North Korean government from around the world. Although gift exchange is standard diplomatic protocol, North Koreans who visit are led to believe the gifts were given out of love and support for Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il.
